The performance, or film, uses DIY televisual production methods to document a roughly chronological day of activities of two performers who are bound together. What unfolds is a continual negotiation between the different participants of the collaboration. The camera operator is trying, and more often than not, failing, to control and operate the camera “correctly”, she’s also attempting to direct the performers whilst not being entirely sure what they are actually trying to achieve. One performer is trying, and also often failing, to lead and control the other performer.
Amidst the general confusion, there are small moments of harmony when the camera, its operator, and the two performers, seem to have grasped what is going on, and how to go about doing it.
